RPM10 Respiratory Pressure Meter

Introduction

Respiratory pressure meter is a portable respiratory muscle strength testing device, which can measure such parameters as maximal inspiratory pressure (MIP) and maximal expiratory pressure (MEP) in the manner of non-invasive pressure acquisition, and display the pressure/time curve in real time. It is applicable to evaluation of the effect of neuromuscular disease on the function of inspiratory muscle and lung diseases, and assessing the effect of respiratory muscle function, expectoration ability and respiratory rehabilitation exercise in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, thoracic malformation and drug poisoning. It is also used as an indicator to judge whether the artificial controlled mechanical ventilation can be removed. Respiratory pressure meter is often used by all kinds of medical institutions, which can provide the examination result of respiratory muscle strength for users and provide medical staff with diagnosis basis.

Function

a. MEP function test:

1) Display pressure waveform in real time;

2) Calculate and display parameter values and their ratios to the expected values, display the quality control rating and show the best value of multiple measured values;

b. MIP function test:

1) Display the respiratory waveform in real time;

2) Calculate and display parameter values and their ratios to the expected values, display the quality control rating and show the best value of multiple measured values;

c. Trend chart display;

d. LED indication: After successful connection, the LED light is on; during data collection, the LED light flickers;

e. Buzzer prompt: After successful connection, the buzzer beeps, indicating that the connection is successful; after pressing down the key, the buzzer beeps.
